The
formal classes in Spanish are given five hours a day, five days a week,
on a week by week basis. The instructional program at Centro Pop Wuj
follows the time-tested method of The idealistic goals of our teaching staff do not detract from our professionalism. Our teachers are university educated and have had extensive experience in teaching Spanish as a second language. Not only do our teachers do excellent work here in the center but the majority have also participated in conferences at universities and high schools throughout the United States and Europe on themes such as "The Mayan Cosmovision," " The Pop Wuj," and " Literature of Latin America." Our instructors are familiar with and sympathetic to the needs of the beginning student. They are experts in the structure of their language, good conversationalists, and good listeners. |
